CHALLENGE:

Glorie Farm Winery is a boutique-style winery located in Marlboro, New York. Owners Doug and MaryEllen Glorie are hands-on people and initially enjoyed handling every aspect of their business themselves—including coding their old HTML website. As the business grew, they wanted a professional look that retained their welcoming, artsy style but would be easier to update themselves.

SOLUTION:

Glorie Farm Winery sits on a mountaintop with a panoramic view of the Hudson Valley. FDD used the beauty of the farm and its location to design an inviting website for wine enthusiasts. The engaging content was written by Doug and MaryEllen and genuinely conveys their playful, sincere personality—a big draw for site visitors. A goal for the site was to build their email list and internet following, so we prominently featured a “Stay in Touch” sidebar box with links to join their email list, follow them on Facebook and join their wine club. A photo gallery visually documents the day-to-day experience of wine tasting, wine making and farm life. Next Step Digital built the site in WordPress alleviating the hassles and time spent updating the old HTML site.
